| Allergy Attack??? Sorry if I duplicated this . . . Has any one had this happen??? What did you do? Could it be allergies? Last night Woody (6yrs) woke me up in the middle of the night sneezing and sneezing to the point he was almost choking! I tried to calm him, but he just couldn't stop! I took him into the living room, where he laid in is bed and stopped sneezing , and I went to get some baby benedryl (my vet has told me how much to give him for anxeity). I gave him the meds, took him back to bed, he sneezed a few more minutes, then stopped, Yippee! I think the meds kicked in. He sleeps on my pillow every night, so I made sure to wash my bedding right away. We'll have to see how it goes tonight.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Glad to hear it stopped. Do you think it was reverse sneezing at all, or just regular sneezing? I wonder if he got a little fuzz stuck in his nose or something?

| If this was an attack of reverse sneezing you can do something to help if it happens again. Just take your hand and lightly cup it over his nose...not the mouth, just the nose. Make sure you do it lightly so he can still get air. I'm not sure what this does exactly but it will make it stop. |

| I don't think it was reverse sneezing, he was 'misting' me during this episode, but I also don't think I've ever experienced the reverse sneezing . . . last night was uneventful, no episodes. Not going to complain.
