| Moose for a yorkie Hello everyone....I have a question. My yorkie is now 7 mos old and weighs 10.3 lbs. does anyone have a yorkie this big or is mine the only one out there is in this world. The breeder said she would be between 5-7 lbs. The vet says she is not fat, she can still feel her ribs and bones. I just don't get it. She only eats 2 times a day (1/2 cup day total). No table food and I give her apples and carrots (small amounts) every other day. She gets plenty of running time and we play constantly. I was just wondering if anyone else had a "moose" like mine. I'm beginning to think her name Peanut just doesn't fit her anytime. Thanks everyone...Sheryl, Bartlett, IL (PeanutAnn Mommie) |

| Yorkies comes in different sizes. Mine is 10lbs fully grown. It doesn't really have anything to do with how much food you feed at least I don't think although I used to feed him 4 times a day as a pup but less amount each feeding.

| My Lucy weighs in at 13 lbs! She's my little chunky butt! Reb weighs 6. It's funny - Lucy thinks she's my little bird. She's a lap baby and when she jumps up, she always tries to sit on my shoulder. She's my cuddler.

Moose loves the water and loves to swim! Mimi would rather sunbathe than swim!! I am not sure what to tell you about NO water in the ears. I just we have been lucky. Ha....we live in rain country. Mine have to go out in the rain. The patio is covered and sometimes when it raining really hard and windy, they will go on the porch and not the grass! Both of mine have a mind of their own!!
