Look at the ingredients on your dogs food. You want to stay away from corn, soybean, byproducts. Your first few ingredients should be meat. Pedigree isn't one of the better foods out there, it's like on the bottom of the totem pole. I'm not going to lecture you on the dog food, as I grew up in the 50's and had dogs live many years on pedigree and purina foods. I am giving mine Taste of the Wild now, you may want to check out the ingredients in that or some of the better foods. But, my advise to you would be to keep the "junk food" away from your dog. You've been lucky so far, that luck may run out

Go to these 2 sites when you have time. You can find a lot of informative info on them both. Dog Food Review Ratings Dog Food Analysis - Reviews of kibble I have mine on taste of the wild, it's a 6 star food. I would stay with the 5 or 6 star foods. When you click on the first site, that tells you all about the products in dog food Good luck. finding a good quality food that these dogs like is not easy. They are very picky
