| Eyes... I have been reading that I can use a warm wet cloth to clean her eyes when they get crusties on them. The hair around her eyes seems to be making the tearing worse. Can I trim the hair around her eyes? Any suggestions on what to use? (She is a baby...8 weeks old.) |

Senior Yorkie Talker | I would have a groomer do it. Bentely had a lot of hair around his eyes that were stained and i just took him to my groomer and she just got out her trimmer and did it real quick...and it was free when i try to groom him, he gets all wiggly and that makes me nervous especially if im using a trimmer! but when he is at the groomers he seems to sit still, probably cause he is so scared! haha

| I was told I should wait until all of her shots to take her to the groomer. She is 8 weeks and has only had her first round...she is about to have her 2nd...she won't be fully vaccinated until 12 weeks. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I would clean them with warm water, like you said. I have snipped the hair near Nolee's eyes before, but now use a groomer. I you do try to trim the hair, be very careful!
