| How long do you Let your dogs chew their BULLY STICK for? How long do they stay good when being chewed and do they need refrigeration? Gucci only gets his when it's grooming time so he has barely even made about an inch of it soggy the rest is hard as ever and untouched. How long will it stay good IT STINKS!!! and does it need to be put in the fridge? The pet store guy said it doesn't but IDK I thought I'd ask here. How about the others that are UNTOUCHED and in the container how long will those last and should they be frozen or something? Thanks in advance!!! |

| I've never put bully sticks in the refridgerator, but Ella and Jack usually finish them off in a couple of days. I try to keep a couple out all the time because Jack is a chewer, and I'd rather he chew that than the coffee table. Have you tried the Moo brand bully sticks? I don't think they smell as much as the other brands. And when you aren't using it, a plastic baggie would probably help keep it fresh.

| I throw out the bully sticks when they get so small I think she may choke on them. I also love the flossies although in my area hard to come by. I have never worried about them being 'on the floor' for any length of time. |

| I do put them in a ziplock for sure because they are kinda smelly. It is not unbearable as I know I've smelled worse.. it just isn't something I would "choose" to smell either lol. It would literally take Gucci a month or more to finish one so I think I may have to throw it out before then, I am just trying to figure out when... the pet store guy said 3 weeks is that correct though? aren't they meat? |

| For as long as they want, until bedtime, or until it gets to be about 2 inches long. I worry about them choking on the stubbies. If they don't like them, they don't chew on them and those ones get tossed after a week or so. The good ones generally don't last more than a day or two!

| A bully stick is a little grosser than just meat...they're made from the tendons of a bull's genitals. I try not to think about that while Ella is chewing one on my foot... I wouldn't leave them out for three weeks because they start to look gross, but I don't know how long it's safe to leave them out.

| Hmm I let Mahina chew on them all day. Well, they are left out all day and she chews occasionally. Usually when she wakes up or if we're just watching tv. It takes her on average no longer than a week, sometimes she'll chew one down in a single sitting. I give them to her or else she would chew on my door and my dresser. Plus, I really think it helped loosen all her teeth, she didn't have to have any pulled at her spay two weeks ago. I don't know if I'd let mine have it past a few weeks. Also, I buy about 50 at a time from AMD and they are in plastic bags in my closet. They haven't changed appearance, and I've had them since I believe November so I don't think refrigeration is necessary.

| Bully sticks never last long enough to go bad around my house lol, so I don't know the answer either. I was told to store them in a ziplock bag in a drawer or cabinet and that there was no need to refrigerate them.
