| Tooth Extractions - Cost? Riley has a couple retained teeth that need to be extracted. Unfortunately, they came in after he got fixed so I'm wondering how much it will cost and how much you all paid? I know I'm going to have to pay to put him under but around how much did you pay per tooth? I'm going to wait a while to do it as he is only 9 months right now and I think he gets a dental thing anyway at around a year or so. I just wanna know if I need to search for another vet to do it because my current vet charges like $50 per tooth but to put him under and stuff will be at no charge because its included in his plan (what I was told by one of the vet tech's).

| It cost me $5 per tooth, but I did do it when she was put under for the spaying. I'm not sure what it would have cost if they put her under just to extract the teeth.

| pricing sometimes depends on where you are located. we are in the central florida area and for teeth extraction its around 15 for each, but thats on top of the cost of pre-op bloodwork and anesthesia.

| I'm in the New Orleans area and it cost roughly $17 per tooth. But his was done when he was neutered. He had 11 baby teeth removed.

| For retained baby teeth, my vet does not charge if they are under for something else, such as a neuter or spay. I pay $12 extra for any extractions during a dental, but the baby teeth are really not a huge deal to extract, so I doubt they would even charge for it. I think $50/tooth is extremely high!

| The vets around me range A LOT!!!!!!! My vet charges $350 for extracting teeth/cleaning. I usually go to the other vet that is $110 for extractions/teeth cleaning.

| Wookie had 2 that had to be extracted and it was done at a different time from his nueter. It was $99 for it. I am in the Fort Worth area, that was about a mid range price for this area from what I remember.

| soooo i took madison in for her rabies shot today & i asked the vet about riley's extraction since he has like 4 teeth he needs to get extracted (upper & lower canines ) she said if they were really tough to get out (worst case scenario) it would be $120 for upper and another $120 for lower PLUS anesthesia hopefully they wont charge as much.. i can feel that his baby teeth are really loose. i'm probably going to call around and get prices from other vets in the area.

| Humane Society Hi there. If you are still looking around, try the Humane Society if there is one around you. They took out my dog Deegan's teeth while he was being neutered(he needed 4 baby teeth out) and they only charged 5 dollars a tooth Good luck! |
