| Toothbrushing & Toothpaste My puppy is reaching 6 month two days - I am beginning to brush his teeth every other day. How often should I be brushing his teeth? And what toothpaste should I use? Any tips on getting the puppy to stay put and let me brush? Thanks in advance for any info and tips. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I try and do my girls teeth every day and usually end up every other day. I use a dental wipe and then the plastic gloves that have a little built in brush on the thumb and pointer finger. They seem to accept my finger in their mouth better than a real brush.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I'm currious as well. I like the finger brush idea. Where do I find those? Toothpaste recommendations?

| I use an Enzyme toothpaste, also a tiny children's toothbrush. However, the finger toothbrushes can be found at pet stores. I brush every other night, and use Petzlife oral gel in between brushings.

| You should be brushing every day. It will be harder for a while since you just started at 6 months but you must be consistant. Enzyme toothpaste is the best to use and a finger brush or tiny dogs toothbrush is good |
