Donating YT Addict | i want to switch from Frontline plus to something else too. it doesn't work on Tyke. he still gets fleas. It works great on my dogs that stay outside. don't know why it isn't working on him. i'm going to try something else but haven't made up my mind which one.

i would honestly consult with your vet first...i dont like advantix because to me it causes a lot of discomfort, revolution might be a good thing to try, it acts as a heartworm preventative too.

| The first thing I ever used on Callie was frontline plus and I had to switch to advantix because frontline was not keeping the ticks off at all.

| I use Advantage on all my dogs. Been using it five years now and it doesn't seem to have lost its effectiveness. I tried Frontline when I was still living in the States and switched to Advantage because the Frontline didn't seem to control my Peke's fleas. The Advantage did.

| Frontline Plus but only when absolutely necessary. My second choice would be Advantage, not Advantix. I try to avoid Revolution, Advantix, ProMeris and newer brands if at all possible and I won't use the brands solely sold in pet and grocery stores like Hartz.
