| I feel like the biggest meanie I gave my baby her first bath today and she shook! She had gotten food in her hair and thought giving her a bath would be easier on both her and I. She shook after the bath and although I had my blow dryer on warm, she didn't like that either. I ended up holding her wrapped up in a blanket crying. Is it normal for them to shake? I had the heat in the house turned up to 76, so it wasn't cold. She is now sleeping in her bed with a blanket. I didn't do her head except for getting around her mouth for fear of getting water in her ears, sigh! I would of taken her to the groomer but the vet told me to keep her away from other dogs until she is finished with her shots. I feel like some kind of monster now for doing this to Bella. Sorry, guess I'm also feeling sorry for myself too. |

| Juicy also shook her first couple of baths. I was so scared the first time but I later found out that it happens alot since its new to them.

| completely normal for her to shake. I always hold mine wrapped in a towel for awhile, before I blowdry them. Yorkies sure do tug at your heartstrings!

| As soon as the water is on in the tub, mine start shaking and hiding in the corner. Perfectly normal. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | I know what you mean, I feel like a monster when I give Thor a bath. He shakes too. Here are two tips I picked up: - Keep the bath as quick as possible. - Microwave a towel for them so they have something nice and warm to roll in afterwards. |

| Your not a meanie. Mine shake everytime I bathe them. I think it's mostly to get the water off, cause I have the heat up high too, and I know they can't be cold.

| Don't feel bad easier said than done...I know. My baby still shakes sometimes when she gets a bath and she is 1 1/2 years. She will get used to it and will soon enjoy this bonding time. It always amazes me how in love we can be with these little furbabies! Just keep cuddling, she knows her mommy means no harm. |
