| Had my girl spayed on Wed.... and you can hardly tell!!! She is 2.8lbs and had to have 3 retained puppy teeth pulled too--but she runs around here and acts like her usual happy self. We have to constantly fuss at her for tussling with her yorkie sister--she will try to go up the steps and jump off the couch. I am shocked she is feeling this well so soon, my other baby was about the same weight when spayed and she moped around for about 5 days and was in alot of pain. |

| that is good! just remember that she needs to stay low key for about 7 days...those pain meds are probably working, and can cause harm when she get off of them! Fiona did well as well, but I still wouldnt let her jump! so watch her!!!!!!!

| that's great that she is feeling so great and doesn't surprise me. Most dogs, especially young ones recover very quickly. However, don't let her be too active too soon. My girl, Lacy, felt good about two-three days after her spay too and was active and her internal stitches tore. She had to be reopened and restitched. So try to keep her still for the most part for at least a few more days so she can heal well.

| My furbaby was the same day. The day after her surgery, she was pretty mopey and slept for most of the day. The day after that, she was back to her normal self. I was so shocked and didn't expect it at all! Everyone in my house was constantly watching her and limiting her jumping. She just wanted to run around and jump on and off of everything like it was nothing! Glad to hear that your baby is doing so well! |
