| Seperation Anxiety Anyone else ever experience this with their yorkie? Mine (16 months) is spoiled with attention, and the most she is ever left alone is during the work day (which I am currently not working) Anytime that I get ready to leave my house she can sense and starts crying and gets panicky, standing by the door, biting my feet etc.. She has just recently started doing this. Any hints on how to calm her down when leaving? |

| i leave the tv on for lexi when im not home.. all day .. i also leave her toys out which she dont play with... she used to it now . she needs to know that your coming back, so try leaving the house for 5 min. and come back and then extend the time.. this way she will know that your coming back to her eventually..

| Mine is showing some of the same signs, I was laid off in Nov. and we had a fun time of long walks, and me being around, I was called back to work last week, and JD is not following me everywhere, and his eating is off.. I hope he adjusts soon.. He's normally got a couple other people around when I'm at work..

| Lily is 11 months old and she has started to BARK in the middle of the night and she is in bed with us!! She BARKS at the TV now and EVERYTHING?? She will not settle down and it is that real loud bark that brings you out of a dead sleep!! I have no idea what is going on with her. We are in AZ now so it is nice weather and she gets to go for walks and we are home with her most all the time?? Instead of getting calmer the older she gets the wilder she is getting? She just carries on when she sees another dog even on TV!!!lol She only weighs 4# but she doesn't know it!! She thinks she is HUGE!!lol I have tried it ALL.....coins in a can, water bottle, ignore her, give treats, yell, don't yell??? NO MORE IDEAS????????? |

| hello everyone, just had to put my two cents in on what I have been doing with Holly. She is 5months old and since I got here I would take her create and put it into my room .Turn radio on and started leaving her in there alone for a half hour. come back and tell her she was a good girl!!!! each day I add a little time. Now she is up to 3hrs alone. Got to go find a job ,so I did this so she won't go nuts when I leave. It worked for me!!!!! Patti and Holly,,,,
