| What do you feed your Yorkie? This was probably asked before, but I can't find a recent thread. So what do you feed your Yorkie? We have fed them Wellness, and now Purina Breed specific. I still give them Wellness treats, and sometimes home-made food.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I feed raw only. I used to feed Natures Variety and Primal, but am now feeding a local grind. I give mostly bully sticks for teeth.

| I feed homecooked at the moment. I have fed Iams, Pedigree canned, Science Diet, Royal Canin and Canidae (not recommending any of them ).

| I recently noticed that Jakes demodex has been much better after we started feeding him Purina. I hope it's the food and not just a moment before relapse.

| We rotate between Wellness Core and Nature's Variety Instinct for now. I'd like to add Orijen and Taste of the Wild some day.

| What I feed my yorkie, Spencer! My little boy, well I say little, he's 9 months old, but I feed him Science Diet food. I started out feeding him Biljack?, which was what the breeder suggested, but it gave him an "upset" stomach! I finally staring using the SD because my vet said that yorkies, among other breeds have difficult digestive systems. I've personally found that he loves it and it works great for him! I give him the "wet" SD food only in the mornings and then he eats his dry food the rest of the day, and he loves it! Plus, the wet food in the A.M insures me that he has a good meal and his blood sugar won't drop, since he's not a big eater anyway! Hope this helps! By the way, I'm having him "fixed" tomorrow, so what can I expect from a boy....never had one, yorkie or other! Thanks, and I'm glad I've joined this site! I'm new at this, so any help is welcomed! |

| I used Innova Evo. Then went to NV raw medallions. I now feed prey model raw that I prepare myself. She's never been healthier. |
