| no it really isn't- the second ingredient is chicken bi-product- which is the parts of animals not fit for human consumption. the third ingredient is corn which is usually an allergen to dogs. The fourth ingredient is sorghum which is a low quality starch filler. There is beet pulp which is a very controversial ingredient. So no.. lol... after all of that it isn't something i would feed- but that being said there are worse foods out there. But if you are looking for a good food- some to look into are Orijen, Natural balance and nature's variety. Do a bit of research and go with the food that has the ingredients you like and feel good about. It's hard- there are not truly any perfect foods out there but there are many that are a better quality than Eukanuba. |

| i home cook- after all the recalls i decided it was best and now that she has mild pancreatitis it is more important than ever. We use a nutritionist to make sure her food is balanced. |

| I see, if i had more time, i'd home cook as well. I remember working at the vet hospital when all the food recalls happened, we had to do blood work on every dog and cat that was on the recalled foods for awhile, and it was just scary!!!!
