| Yorkie spaying issues I don't know about anyone else's experience with spaying but mine has been a rough one, not only is Gracie out of it from the meds, but managed to chew through the snaps and take out 2 of her 3 stitches. We had to get one of those funnels for her head. She looks so depressed. Plus I have another week till they take out the one and only stitch thats left. I think we will be glad when its over. | Yes, it is not as easy as some people think. Ellie came home a few hours after her spay and I stayed up with her all night. By the next day I was exhausted and somebody came and watched her while I took a nap. She peed in her onesie during the night and somehow got it off and I'm sure licked her incision. She tried to get to her incision through the leg holes in the onesie. I was on the computer and she was laying on the desk where I could watch her nap. She heard something and down she went. So much for no jumping. A couple of her staples came out (no big deal but had to call the vet). Then she got lots of bumps under her incision (normal), some bruising around it and it felt lke an inside stitch was poking through. That was good for two vet visits but all was perfectly fine. Because of her liver she couldn't have the pain meds normally given and I felt like she was in some pain. Then her inside stitches didn't dissolve very quickly at all. Her body didn't attack them as fast as it should've of. Good time, Good times.

| I have had several females spayed and they all did great. I never had to put anything on them and none of them every bothered their stitches. They were a little mopie for a day or two then they bounced back to normal. |

| My furbaby was absolutely wonderful after her spaying. The first day, she was out of it and pretty much slept the whole day. I called into work as well so I could be with her. By the following day, she was already trying to jump around and was pretty much back to normal. She was an angel when it came to leaving the sutures and the incision alone. |
