| Blue Buffalo questions I am currently in the process of switching Hannah over to blue bluffalo. She eats the life source bits. Will they do strange thing to her bowels? How long will it take her to have firm poop throughout the day? |

| You should very gradually switch her food. It should take at least a week to make the switch, mixing a little in with her other food and gradually increasing the amount of the new food. A change in diet can upset the tummy as well as stress the dog a little. If you make the change very gradually it will decrease both.

| Mine were on Blue Buffalo for a while , but mine wouldn't eat the lifesource bits so we switched. The food never did anything strange to their bowels. They were softer for a bit during the trasnsition period , but that was only for a short while. What kind of BB are you feeding? One of mine was on was on BB puppy and then I switched both of my dogs over to BB Wilderness. They had 2-3 solid poos a day. Just make sure you switch slowly . The poo may be softer while you transition , but my dogs were back to normal with in a week or so.

| I am using blue buffalo lamb and rice puppy formula. Her poop is really runny. However, she continues to eat, drink, and be active. |

Well actually one of my dogs ( Sydney, who isn't a puppy) did have a problem , I had forgotten because were not sure if it was the food or not ? We now think it was a rawhide issue and not the food but can't be 100% sure. We were changing Sydney and Chloe over to BB from crappy foods ( Beneful for Syd and Science diet for Chloe) but Syd kept eating Chloe's BB puppy food and she had diarrhea for about a week or so. BUT we don't know if it was because she was eating the BB puppy food or if it was an issue with rawhide. . So , I can say for certain neither had a problem on BB Wilderness and Chloe had no problem with the blue bag of BB puppy formula , BUT Sydney I can't be sure.
