| no it's not a good food It was involved in the recalls and has caused many health issues in dogs and cats. Does your petco carry Wellness or Halo? |

| most of the food discussed here can be found in specialty stores or independent dog supply stores. nutro is not the best. once you choose a food you can search for retailers on their websites.

| petco is the closest petstore. I went to it and couldn't find any of the food. All I see are puppy chow and all those commercial foods. I remember seeing the name nutro so i thought out of all the commerical foods nutro would be better. Thanks I won't feed him. I am going to return it tomorrow and see if they have anything else. |

| Nutro has been blamed on illness and death in probably hundreds of dogs. I would not feed it.

| I just found out the other day from one of the other YT'ers that Nutro wasn't a good food. I did google searches on the foods that they suggested, and found that most of them are sold at feed stores.

| If you wanted a specific food that you can't find locally, you could always order from Pet Food Supplies Dog Cat Bird ... PetFoodDirect.com They sell hundreds of brands.

| Nutro Don't have Yorkies but had major problems when changing to Nutro for two shih-tzus. They both got real sick (vomiting, diarhhea) but improved overnight when changing back to Eukanuba. |
