| Puppies urinating themselves in their sleep Hi, I posted earlier about sweating in their sleep. I know now there is no such thing as dogs sweating. I have found out that she is urinating herself when she is in a deep sleep. The vet seems to think she will grow out of it. She is 2 pounds at 16 weeks and thinks when her bladder grows alittle she should grow out of this. Has anyone out there ever had this problem??? She does great when she is awake. She is doing well on potty training also.

| I actually had that same problem with one of my little guys. He even had accidents a couple of times while he was curled up sleeping on my lap. I had him examined by our vet (urinalysis), but all the tests came back normal. My vet said he had seen that in girl puppies, but it doesn't usually happen in boys. He definitely did out grow it though. It didn't happen that often and it completely stopped by the time he was 6 mos. Poor little guy...he used to look so dejected when he woke up all wet :-( |
