| Questions & update on Mia Has anyone used a holistic veternarian or one that practices homepathy medicine? I have taken my Mia to a holistic vet to try to make get her better from an injury that she had around the beginning of October. She diagnoised her as having a cerebral injury in either her neck or the back of her head that has effected her sense of aim (in the food bowl) and her balance. She circles to the left a lot of the time and has a few personality changes. She is doing a blood cleanse on her and has prescribed Stemplex (for Mia to produce more stem cells) and Pregnenolone. Any experience with either of these natural meds or anyone out there use veternary care of this type. This vet uses a lot of natural meds and practices wellness. She is trying to get her healthy again by having her body heal itself. She is very recommended in our area and has been in this location for 25 years atleast. Thanks

| Sorry I hadn't seen this thread earlier! I use a great holistic / acupunctu vet - he is incredible. He actually saved the life of one of my former Bichons. I found him when my regular vet was telling me I would have to put my precious Andre to sleep. Hope Mia is doing great! From what I know it seems that these vets train first as traditional vets and then gain the added knowledge -- my vet was a traditional vet for years & was at first a skeptic about other methods - now he teaches all over the world!
