| bad breath Anyone have any advise for really bad breath. It smells like he has been in a cat box but he hasn't. I have looked in his mouth trying to see if he has food stuck somewhere but I don't see anything. I have brush his teeth and rubbed his gums with diluted listerene. I'm perplexed |

| I wouldn't use listerine....... it is definitely NOT for dogs. You may want to have a vet check his teeth...... I agree, it could be baby teeth that need to be removed. (Shelby & Seymour had some extracted when they were spayed and neutered) I also suggest you try a dog toothpaste or gel. They have tooth wipes also. We use Petzlife gel and spray.... it cleans teeth and also gives them a fresh smelling breath.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Yorkies can have really bad breath. Do you feed em lots of wet food. I would try to stick to a hard food. This helps clean their teeth. Plus some ropes and maybe bully sticks. This helps keep my boys teeth cleaned. I also brush his teeth once a week. All of this really does help. When he was a baby it was worse. Make sure your baby has plenty of chew toys this will help keep his teeth clean. I also get my boys teeth proffesionally cleaned once a year to keep them in good condition. Good Luck. |

| That is normal with baby teeth falling out. You can brush them with a dog toothpaste but some human products are dangerous, so they should be avoided.
