| Peeing too much? Our 12 weeker has been peeing probably 20-30 times a day. We think it's probably because when he goes on his wee pad, he gets a treat. Sometimes he'll keep leaving little dots of pee on the pad over and over again within a 20 minute time frame seemingly to just get a treat. Sometimes he'll even squat on his pad, and nothing will come out, but he'll come running over for a treat!!!! But, we are concerned that there could be something else going on. How often should a puppy his age be peeing? (Also he's 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 pounds, in case that matters...) |

| I would say no more than every 30-45 minutes and that would be a lot. That is way too much although maybe he's just very smart. I would go to the vet and do a urinalysis. Does he drink a lot?

| i would say stop giving him a treat every time he goes on his wee pad and see what happens.maybe if he sees that he won't get a treat every time he goes to the bath room than he wont do it as much!!! also if your giving him a lot of water, that could be the problem. try giving him ice cubes in his water bowl because than he can lick the ice when he's thirsty and it will take longer for him to build up in his bladder!! hope this works. |

| When Pasquale was a baby...he would do the same thing.....and i know he was doing it to get the treat...little stinker. Anyways, I would rotate when he would get treats...and when he would just get really excited praise. I'm a pro at the pee pee dance! So maybe just adding a pee pee dance rotation to your routine.

| It's possible he has a urinary tract infection. I would call your vet |
