Yorkie Yakker | I'll never tape again I had decided to tape Maxs' ears. I look it up to make sure I did it right. I taped it but then I had felt bad and took the tape off after two days. I'm glad I did! I wont ever do it again. His ears looked purple and it was hard to take off the tape so I had to cut more of his fur . I may have done it wrong, but I really doubt it because I paid close attention to how its done. After I took off the tape his ears were still down... I decided to just start massaging his little ears and it seems to be working . His ears are up most of the time now

| You didn't mention his age, but if he's still teething, ears can go up and down. Don't worry, I'll bet they stand up all on their own. I saw his profile pics, and he's a cutie!

| Liz, Did you shave his little ears front and back, before you put on the tape? It's really easy. I used Masking tape on Daisy. Her ears were really floppy. I just put a piece across her ears horizontally. I let the tape stick past her ears about 1/4". Then I put a piece the same size on the other side of the same ear. The edges of the masking tape were stuck together but really wasn't stuck to the ear that much. The masking tape was stiff enough it kept them up. I left them on 3 days is all and they stayed. I went to a clients house the other day and she had a yorkie with floppy ears. It was so cute. I guess I wouldn't worry either way. Good luck. |

| My Suzi's ears were floppy for the longest time. Until she went to her first grooming. All it took was for them to shave her ears, taper them , and trim them up. They have been up ever since.
