| If she has kennel cough it can take a long time to get rid of it. Sometimes months

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Anti biotic is given as a preventative against pneumonia developing in dog's with kennel cough. It doesn't cure the illness. Kennel cough can take a long time to clear up. You can take her into a steamed filled bathroom or use a warm mist vaporizer with vick's in it. A teaspoon of honey will also sooth an irritated throat.

| Poor thing...I have seen my friend's Cocker Spaniel pup had kennel cough. It lasted for more than a month. It does take a long time to heal and you need to make sure it doesn't develop into pneumonia..usually vets prescribe antibiotics. Honey is a good idea with adult dogs but I have heard they should never be given to puppies. Check with your vet first on this because I never found out if its true or not.
