| Was it like a regular rubberband or one of the ones with the cloth on it? Dymond ate a regular little bow and I called the vet and they said to keep an eye on her make sure she was pooing and to check for it in her poo. I guess to make sure she didn't get a blockage it came out later that night. I am no expert or anything hopefully someone will come along with a lot more experience than I have. I hope the little handsome man doesn't get sick.

| WOW polly pocket toys .. I was sooo soo worried, It is a mini hair elastic maybe a little smaller than a dime in diameter and has fabric covered over it.. it's a Goody Ouchless one, I am sure you know what I mean. So you guys think it will pass? I was just worried it could get tangled somewhere because it's elastic ya know. This guy drives me nuts! Induce vomiting is a NO GO for this particular incident then? I called the vet he said I could bring him to induce vomiting if I want but other than that just watch him and see what happens. |

| You really want to induce vomiting more when they swallow a dangerous pill or something like that

| I think it will pass. I wouldn't induce vomitting for something like that. Only if he ate a bunch of chocolate or medicine, something that could poison him. The elastic will come out the backend just as easily as it would the front I'm sure That little Gucci sure keeps you on your toes hey? He's lucky that he's so cute

| With some things inducing vomiting can make things worse. This is true with some chemicals. When unsure, always ask the vet. I guess the vet is leaving it up to you, so whatever you are comfortable with...

| There is a thread about the oddest thing your dog has ever pooped. It is a scream and has been around for a few years. I highly recommend reading it...you will feel so much better about that little rubber band! Here is the link: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...er-pooped.html Some of these posts will leave you rolling in the floor! It is one of my favorite thread to read when i need a belly laugh! |

To EVERYONE THAT HAS COME TO REPLY!.. Thank you so much for the reassurance. It did sound as if the vet was leaving it up to me and I really do not want to induce vomiting if there is no need. I appreciate all the responses in such a quick time! I worry so much about the lil stinker. | |

| Mine have passed hair scrunchies on several occasions. I don't think you have anything to worry about. |

| I found one of my baby's 1/4" latex bands in her poo. I didn't even know she swallowed it. My problem is that I have two puppies. They take each other's bands out. I am seriously thinking of giving them bangs so they don't need to wear bands all the time to keep the hair out of their eyes. |
