| Changing food causes gas? After Canidae changed their ingredients a couple months back, I slowly switched Princess to Innova, and everything has been fine except I noticed in the past 2 months shes been passing gas! I mean I know it is normal but when she was on Canidae she rarely did it, and now she does it a couple times a day. Is this normal? |

| that is probably the factor of the gas! always remember, when changing new foods, to do it over a 3 day grace period!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | If she's been having gas for 2 mths, I'd switch her off that food. Gas can be quite uncomfortable and it's a sign that something is not digesting properly in their system. Since she was having gas on both foods (but more now) - I'd compare the ingredients of both those foods and then see if you can find one that is somehow different from both.

| I used to have Pao on Innova..he had gas problems too..I think it is one of the ingredients in there that do not agree to his tummy.
