| Any pet shop should sell doggy toothpaste and brushes. I think it is ok to clean their teeth 2 or 3 times a week, but i try and do mollys everynight because i usually only manage to brush one side of her mouth each night, before she decides its time to chew the brush! You can get a brush that fits on your finger which sometimes makes life easier. Good luck! |

| I use Petrodex toothpaste, Poultry Flavour and I use baby toothbrush instead of the ones the pet supply stores sell because it is too big. I brush Pao's teeth every night.

| you can buy flavoured toothpastes at the pet store or the vets also carry some good ones..i find the cat toothbrushes work really well in Harley's tiny mouth( he is 5lb) and i make a conscious effort to brush every other day as i find the tartar can build up very quickly and it helps to keep his breath sweet smelling..

| Thanks for the tips...I will look at the ones with flavors...I think I will brush every other day or something like 3 days per week...This guy does not like it when I do things to him like shower or brush his hair...I know I will have hard time with teeth...thanks Quote:

| I have been using this chicken flavoured tooth paste, but a friend recommended Virbac because it is a vanilla mint flavour (and hopefully it will help their dog breath. I got it at the vet. We haven't opened it yet, because we are finishing off the chicken kind. |

| Ellie's teeth are brushed once daily with a toddler toothbrush and Virbac CET Vanilla-Mint toothpaste. It smells like rootbeer floats.

| Ya they never like it at first. Mine still don't really like brushing but he will tolerate it. He will run to his bed and lie down when he see me come with his toothbrush lol. I tried the Virbac mint one too and mine hates it so I had to stick to the poultry flavoured ones.

| At what age should I start brushing my yorkie's teeth. He's eight week old. Can I start now or should I wait?
