| Wet dog food...ok? Hi all I am wondering if it is ok to give a yorkie wet food all the time or should it be mixed with dry? Is it healthy to give wet all the time? What if your dog wont eat dry?

| wet it just fine. You just want to make sure there is something that is "cleaning" their teeth. Either carrots or chew toys- hard kibble does somewhat of a job on the teeth- but brushing is always best. |

| Check with your vet because wet food doesn't have all the nutrients that dry food has. If you look to see the percentage of proteins and fat ... etc needed each day, the wet food is always less than the dry food. What brand of wet food are you feeding your puppy? The lower level brands of wet food basically have no nutrients at all ... |

She is fed 3-5 times a day (broken into small meals because of liver issues. I thnk healthy Yorkies should be fed at least 2 and preferrably 3 times a day. Ellie is 7.
