| New Yorkie Cookbook, proceeds go to Yorkie Inc! I need YOUR help!!! Hey guys! I have been reading all these said poems about animals being in shelters over the holidays, or older and bigger dogs getting put down, because their time is up and no one wants them, or today, I just read a sad sad story about a paralyzed Yorkie. She became paralyzed at only 13 weeks old. She can't sit up, stand up, walk, eat by herself, or anything. She is in a little brace. It was the SADDEST thing I have EVER saw. I cried. She is doing somewhat better (they had an update), she is not able to keep somewhat of a balance, but still needs a lot of rehabilitation. Sooooo this made me think.... "What can Keri do to help?" Well, immediately my mind went to work and the light bulb went off! I said "I am going to make a doggy cookbook, and give 100% of the profits to a Yorkie rescue, called Yorkie Inc. that is near by and my local SPCA" So, today I went to work and I mean I worked ALL DAY LOOOOOONG. I gathered 50 dog recipes. Got permission to use them. Wrote them up. Designed a template, and cover and put everything together. It was hard work, but fun and rewarding! Sooo, now I am going to start selling these. I am going to the UPS store, Office Max and Staples to price how much it costs to print, laminate and bind these books. I am hoping it wont be a lot. I am going to start selling them on websites, school work, shelters, vets, etc. 100% of the profit will be going to Yorkie Inc. Rescue, Massachusetts and Rhode Island SPCA But here is the catch! I want the cookbook to have a minimum of 100 recipes, so it can really sell! So I was HOPING you guys could help me out! If you have a recipe (or two or five) that you would like to share, and let me print in my book, I would love it! Of course I would need your permission to print the recipes. And you would get proper crediting! So if you have a recipe (or five) that you would like to add to my doggy cookbook to help save Yorkies, please either PM the recipe to me or post it in this thread. Of course I need the ingredients and the baking directions. So it you are willing to help send me the recipes, along with a sentence or two saying I can use the recipe in the book to help Yorkies. And I need your full name and state that you are from. I know with all your help i can get to 100 recipes. I am half way there, so let's help these homeless and sick furbabes!!! Thanks guys you are awesome!!!!!!!!

| Thanks so much! I appreciate it! Do you have a recipe that you have and wouldn't mind lending to the book. You'd get proper credit!!! And best of all you'd be helping out our favorite furbabes that need help! Let me know! Have a magical and merry Christmas!!!

| What a wonderful idea! Unfortunately, the only recipes I have weren't created by me, but copied from other websites. I think you might have a problem getting original recipes to use. |
