| Shucks, I don't think I can help. Mine had some loose stools when I did a transition when they were younger so I slowed it way down and their tummies adjusted. I did another switch a month or so ago and they didn't have any problems at all. How long did you do the transitioning? Maybe she's eating too quickly? I'll bump this up so the experts can help you

| Has she ever had an issue with kibble? My little girl used to vomit undeigested food at least once a week, sometimes twice when she ate kibble. I tried everything and then made the switch to a raw diet....and no more issues with vomitting and never has diarreah. |

| I can't find the site when I switched foods.. but maybe she just doesn't like the taste of it. Max used to just eat a bit with Royal Canin but as soon as I switched he now scarfs down anything in front of him. I am feeding Innova EVO which I would only suggest if your dog is over 1 year and gets a lot of exercise. Anyways this is what you should do: Days 1-3: 80% old 20% new Days 4-6: 60% old 40% new Days 7-9: 40% old 60% new Days 10-12: 80% old 20% new Day 13: 100% new Maybe you could put cottage cheese on it to encourage her to eat it? If you tell me how much she eats of her current food and how much she needs per day (according to the bag label or vet) I would be happy to do all the calculations for you on how much to feed of each.

| It should be changed over a 3-4 day period "minimum" and preferrably 7 or more days. First it is 75% old, 25% new, then 50%, 50%, then 25 old, 75% new, then all new You may have to crush it up so it is harder for her to pick out the small pieces. If she is having gastrointestinal upset from it, I'd put her back on the old, wait till she feels better, then switch her slowly. If she gets sick again, she will need a different food...

| throwing up is a weird issue. Usually it's diarrhea that is the problem with switching foods. There are other grain-free foods out there that also have 6 star ratings you could try, like Taste of the Wild. My dog's currently on it and hasn't been healthier. |

| I would try some of the suggestions above--transition her more slowly. It may be that it will just take a little time for her to adjust. It may be that she just can't eat Wellness for whatever reason. Just take it slowly and closely monitor her. Make sure that she is eating and keeping down enough and that she is not getting dehydrated. Sometimes swapping foods can cause intestinal upset with dogs and it can lead to a nasty infection. |
