YT 2000 Club Member | ugh... I had my vet tech friend watch Tucker over Thanksgiving weekend, we went to PA and I usually take my dogs with me but my sister in laws dogs were recovering from kennel cough so we decided to leave them all in the care of family/friends. Because of Tucker's hernia situation we knew that Ellen (vet tech friend) would know what to do if a problem should occur. So we dropped him off late thursday night with all of his nessacities. Going back a week when she took him to work for his ear infection she had fed him science diet puppy while he was there, and she told me that she had a "puppy starter kit" for me but she had accidently left it at work. I told her that it was ok that I had him taste of the wild and he was doing great on etc. Well between the night she brought him home and the next day he had pooped 6 times. He normally only goes 2or 3. Im assuming it was from the SD puppy food he had eaten at the vets. So when we got back from PA saturday night, we went and picked him up she handed me the "starter kit" and I graciously took even though when I got home I was just going to toss it. Well, the bag of food was open and the food I had sent with him wasnt touched. So for the 2 days he was there she fed him the SD and he has been pooping up a storm and now he wont eat his regular food. Im pretty upset about this. I know that she has been told that SD is one of the best foods and it is the only food that her office sells but I wish that should would just look at the ingredients and wake up!! Now Im back to square one with Tucker and at this point untill he is willing to eat the taste of the wild agian he is on SD.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | That's a shame. I used to have a babysitter, that I found out used my diapers (Pampers) on her grandaughter, and used the cheeper ones on my daughter and she kept getting a rash. Why would people do this? I hope his tummy settles down. Poor little guy. Maybe once he knows your home to stay he'll get back on track. I got upset at mt neices mother. I bought her a bag of Nutro for her puppy, and I went over yesterday to fing she's giving her Purina Puppy Chow!!!! WTF....I can't understand why I bother.

| Since she is a vet tech, I wonder why she doesn't know that dogs have to be switched from one food to another very slowly. Once Ellie got into another dog's food (Purina) and came home soooo bloated and miserable.

You can find it on Consumer Affairs. I'd sooner feed Purina.
