| Care after spaying? Can you all please give me some advice on how to keep Sassy from hurting herself ? She is sooo active and just got out of hospital today! She just won't calm down! I just put her in a pen and now she is whining and whining to get out. Help! Thanks in advance! |

I just had Daisy spayed last Thursday and although you do need to keep her as still as possible, be glad that she is wanting to play and is doing well! My Daisy wouldn't even get out of her bed for 2 days. It took her 5 days before she got any of her toys out. She would cry and whine off and on all day and all night b/c she was in pain. They say all dogs respond differently and I believe it now!!

| I always request the pain meds. I keep them in their crate and quite and usually the pain medication causes them to sleep. Hope she does well. It is hard to keep these little still. |

| the pain meds are obviously helping her out, since she is running around like crazy! but...KEEP HER CALM!!!!!!! i wouldnt give benedryl, just if you have a crate, leave her in there! Fiona is just laying down right now, but good luck! we are all on the same boat!!!!!

| My pup Daisy just got spayed as well on Monday. She was sleeping all day and night when we got her home. But today (Tuesday) she became very active again, too!!! I'm trying to make her not run around, but everytime one of my family members come home from work, she gets so excited! She totally went back to being 100% her normal self...well except that she hasn't pooped at all yet! I heard I can give her pumpkin, but what kind? Any ideas? |
