| Bella and her dry food I was wondering if anyone else's babies do this. First she hates most dry food, including Natural balance Duck and Potato, and any other all natural brands I have purchased for her. I have bags of different kinds down stairs with 1 or 2 scoops removed. The only one she will pick at is Kibbles and Bits small bites. And then she will only eat the bits not the kibbles. I put it in her bowl and she throws all the kibbles all over the floor to get to the bits. Then she proceeds to take them 1 at a time into the family room and eat it then return to the kitchen throw out more Kibbles, get another bit, etc. Whew what a mess. Good thing she is a cutie. OR ELSE |

| How old is Bella? From what I have read and what several vets have told me, the more you try different foods the higher the chances are of them acting that way. What food did Bella start with at the very first? Remember that a dog will never go hungry if there is food in a dish. Bella is working hard at telling you what to do. I have had stubborn ones go almost all day with out food. With small dogs you do have to worry about blood sugars, but Bella is eating even if it is only a bit. If you can, try going back to the original food and only put a little bit in the bowl. Take Bella out for a really long walk or play for an hour or so. Then give Bella the food. After 10 minutes, take it away and wait. In a couple of hours, another walk and give back the food. Alway keep water available at all times. Be patient and good luck. |

| Pasquale in the beginning wouldnt even touch dry food. He would only want wet food. He use to pick the wet food out and leave the dry. I then took away the wet food completely and mixed his dry food with yogurt or cottage cheese..which he did eat. We did go thru alot of brands of dry food also. He too hated the Duck and Potato by Natural balance..but he LOVED the venison and sweet potato. i emailed every healthy brand food out there and asked for a sample..and they gladly sent me them...thats how i found out he liked the venison . Now he eats plain dry food with nothing in it. I use yogurt as a treat now. Oh and he also takes one piece of food at a time and runs to the living room.....i thought he was just weird LoL

| Buddy gets a bite and walks around the kitchen while eating it so he is nect to us. If I am by his bowl he will stay there and eat it. Bella takes it out of the bowl, drops it and eats it off the floor. Since it is dry kibble and they don't take it out of the kitchen. How old is Bella, I am wondering if she is teething or maybe just being stubborn. Mine go nuts over wet, but that is only an occasional treat, so kibble is thier only option.

| Harley will run to his bowl, get a mouth full of kibble, run to where ever I am, drop it all on the floor, and then eat it one piece at a time. He also is not a fan of everything staying in the bowl, no matter how may times I put kibble back in the bowl, he will go back just to knock a few pieces on the floor!! Jeri and Harley |

| Zoe does that too sometimes. She grabs a bit of kibble and takes it to the living room eats it there, then she comes to get another one and goes on but when she's really hungry she eats everything in the bowl |

| My puppy is 12 weeks. When we first got him the breeder had been mixing wet with the dry. When we got him we continued until the vet said to start slowly taking him off the wet. Hercules used to eat the wet out and leave the dry. But now we only give him dry and he will grab a few pieces and follow us around while he eats, run back to get more, come back and find us...over and over and over. My friend has a yorkie too and he does a very similar thing. She feeds him a brand that has different shapes. He will grab a mouth full of a particular shape run across the house and lay on the carpet in the master bedroom to eat and repeat over and over until full.... how silly are their ways! | My husband J.R. does this she will get a mouth full of food run to the other food spit it out and then goes back for more, when I was mixing the NB duck and venison together she would pick through and get the one she like best at that time and rest would be scatter all over the floor.
