| What do I do about fleas and ticks We are taking our 6 month old baby to the beach for a week. I was told that frontline might be to strong for him. Does any one have any idea of what I should buy? Has anyone else heard of this. I am running out of time, and don't know what to get. |

| Kacee will be 19 weeks old tomorrow and I've been using Advantix (not Advantage) on her since she was 8 weeks old. No problems. Advantix also is supposed to deal with the mosquitoes.

| Revolution is what I have been using on my boys since they were 12 weeks and just over two pounds. Neither one has had a reaction ever and they are now 18 months old. It also takes care of fleas, ticks, mites, heartworm and mange all in one dose. It is available from your vet and costs around $10 per month per dog. I am extremely pleased with this product, I do not have to give heartworm meds in addition to flea protection. I have never seen any flea, etc even on my boys. |

| Okay I think I'm going to get frontline. I guess I'm a really bad mother, I've never put any flea or tick meds on him before. I guess because I live in NYC I didn't think we needed it (there are not may ticks over here). Thanks for everyones advice. |

| We are in NY also...I use frontline plus..Maximus is 6 months but he has been on it since 4 months, I would say....you should have t on them ESPECIALLY during the summer if you take them out for walk sin the park or they are around other dogs because those fleas are hiding in the grass and/or can jump from another animal

| I never heard of frontline being too strong for any dog...i use and approve on my dogs so i definately recomend it! When you go to the beach, make sure to rinse all the saltwater as soon as possible (specially on face)!

| I use Frontline Plus(different then Frontline) on all my cats and kittens. I visited the Vet today(just the front counter) to ask about using the puppy formula on my new Yorkie and she said the Puppy Frontline Plus was fine for my 2 1/2 pound Yorkie. I then told her...LOL... I wanted confirmation... and she called the frontline company right while I was standing at the counter and double checked with them and handed the phone to me to hear their answer which was YES. LOL... My Vet thinks I'm crazy.....LOLOLOLOLOLOL Yorkieangel Frontline Plus is good from 0-22 lbs as long as OVER 8 weeks |
