| Frontline (plus or top spot) Does anyone know the difference between the two? I got the Frontline Top Spot from my vet ( I didn't know it was so expensive! Eek.) but I expected to get Plus. I don't really know the difference, if there even is one? Can anyone enlighten me, so I know in 6 months whether to stay with top spot or Plus. I was going to use K9 Advantix, but the vet said it can be poisonous to cats which is not good since I have two! Thank you |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Both products kill ticks and fleas...however, the plus verison also kills flea eggs and larvae. The plus is the more expensive of the two. If you don't have a really bad infestion...the top spot is fine. I purchase my frontline and heartguard from aussiepets.com. The products are indentical and cost much less. Btw what does your yorkie weigh? I use only half the dose and it's still effective. I save the 2nd portion for the next month.

She only weighs 4 lbs(at 4months)... I was thinking about using only half because it says up to 23 lbs! She's at the very low end and maybe only 1/2 would be good a month. Thanks for the link, i'll check it out. I use inceptor for heartworms and other worms. | |
