| Any Other Suggestions!? As you all have read, I'm STILL having FLEA issues with Fiona Im not really sure what to do at this point. We havent treated the yard due to the fact that it has been really cold, and frosting over the grass has happened, and its been real rainy and windy. I have washed her bedding every other day, washed our bedding, and vaccumm a lot. We put boarax down on the carpets, and used the vinegar/water spray on her. I don't want to use too many chemicals on her, and at this point I"m just really annoyed with this whole thing. I have done EVERYTHING I"m supposed to do. Applied Frontline Plus on her, Bathed her, Gave her a capstar, and they just keep coming back. I just gave her a bath on monday night, and then last night, had the "pleasure" of pulling 5 more off of her. They are eating up her skin, and I told my boyfriend that we need to bomb the house this weekend. Do you think thats the best thing we could do at this point!? It is supposed to drop down to the low 30s this pm. Any other ideas would really help! I"m sure you are all sick and tired of me posting this, but i'm just at a blank right now! THANK YOU!

| I have done that too! I think I'm def. gonna bomb this weekend. It's just hard cuz i'm renting the entire bottom level of a friends house, so I dont want to do too much, but then again I dont want to do too little. I think we are going to have to do this, I'm so fed up with this issue!

| How long after applying Frontline did you bathe her? Are you sure that whatever you bathed her in didn't wash off the Frontline (I think this happens with soap based products)?

Well, my stupid self applied the frontline , and then waited 4 full days to bathe her, I should have bathed her first, let her dry all the way, and then applied it. I could probably give her frontline again, but I just don't want to keep putting chemicals on her, ya know!? It is just so frustrating at this point...and the thing is, I don't think they are in the house, because Im sure I would have been bitten by them, and I havent... I dunno, I'm so lost with this right now!

Very true. I was crying because I feel so bad for her. Last night she DID NOT SCRATCH once! SO I was happy about that. I think it has been long enough for me to apply the frontline again. I think what my plan of attack will be, is that Im going to bomb the house this weekend, and apply it on her. Sounds good, right!?

| They have King, a rottie, he is flea free. I really, really don't think they are in the house. I just think since Fiona was NEVER treated with frontline before she was an easy target.......

| Maybe ! MAYBE U SHOULD TRY THE ADVANTAGE AS THE OTHER DOG ROXIE SEEMED TO GET RID OF THEM WITH THAT... ALSO WHEN U WASH HER U SHOULD WASH WITH THE SHAMPOO FIRST AROUND THE NECK AND THEN THE BODY...AS U SAID THEY WERE ON HER FACE ? THEY ARE COULD BE HIDING IN THE EARS WHEN U WASH HER..THEN THEY COME BACK OUT ...ALSO WEAR SOME KNEE HIGH WHITE SOCKS AROUND THE HOUSE U WILL SEE IF THEY ARE THERE AS THEY ARE ATTRACTED TO THOSE .. SURE DO HOPE UR LITTLE FIONA WILL BE RID OF THEM SOON! KISSES & HUGS TO HER |

very true! she is getting spayed 11/4/08, im gonna see if they can give me advantage then- I will try your approach to and see what happens. I wear white socks all the time, and NEVER have i seen any on me, and i am real sensitive to things and i've been fine- I really, truly think they are outside, and this am, i sprayed the entire basement area with a flea/tick spray so hopefully this will work! I still have a capstar left, but i'm trying to stay away from chemicals! wish me luck!
