| need a few low fat suggestions Poor Layla.. she's never really liked fish much to begin with but it's her new diet until we talk to the nutrionist on Tuesday (and i think it will even be her diet after that too ) She is getting white fish and sweet potato or regular potato for supper and i need to think of something non fat to put on top of it to make it more appealing. I'm of the mindset- if she is hungry she will eat, however, I also need to keep a steady amount of food in her to keep her glucose steady. In the morning she is getting oatmeal with about 1/6 of a scrambled egg and non fat yogurt. She usually gobbles this right up and has it usually a second time around 12-2. Then after that she eats around 4-5 if i can get her to and then again around 7-8 - both of those meals are the fish. Any help is greatly appreciated- Layla says thanks |

| I really don't know because everything goes against the pancreatitis rules. Does she like herbs? I am reading now that pancreatitis patients need to be on a low protein diet (15-30%) because the amino acids can cause problems maybe even more so than fat. I wonder if we'll ever get tired of studying dog diets.

So, I'm less likely to second guess.
