| WORMS....i don't know...not normal worms. Ok. Today i was bringing Teddy's bed (a portable plastic kennel...top snapes of, we put a blanket in the bottom and WA-LAW, you have a pet bed.) into the living room. He recently caught flees and I was going to treat his bed. I was in the process of starting to do this and i noticed there was little bitty worms (and black balls that i learned were flee eggs) in the bottom of his bed. A few mintues after I discovered this (stuck the blanket n the washer and kennel outside and sprayed it down with Flea and Tick Spray for dogs) a few mintues later, my baby (Teddy) had an accident, so I decided to check his feices for worms (cause that's what everybody says to do) and there was nothing there. We haven't moved his bed in a long time (weeks maybe?? a couple of months??) and he is one that loves to pick up his food and take it other places. I was thinking maybe he took his food to his bed and after the food sit in there for a while, maybe some maggots go in there?!?! I dont know. I know that sounds nasty, but that's what they looked like to me. I don't know any other explination for it. I've also heard those black eggs could be tape worms but they also discribe them being like an inch plus. these things were like maybe a couple of cm long. Our house that we rent has alot of flaws and ease of bugs getting in is one. Does anyone else know what it could be??? or do u agree that it's magets? I'm so worried. |

| if it looks like rice then it is maggots and do not worry as i made that mistake and took mine to the vet and they got shots when they did not need it i was a new dog owner then and came home and the worms were in food bowl as i left kibble down too long now i change daily and there had been a fly in house day before -- learned the hard way not sure about the balls though |

| If he had fleas... he may have injested a flea.... so he may have tapeworms. Your vet should be able to supply you with a pill which will eliminate them. Best of luck!
