| Problems with Merrick? I looked through past posts and I saw that some people have had problems with Merrick, due to the fact that it is low in fiber. Has anyone else had any issues with this food. Cooper was at the vet yesterday with some digestive issues and I believe that it was due to the food (he had been previously eating Wellness). The vet wasn't entirely sure if his sickness was due to the food. Weird... By the way, he is FINE now!!!

| I don't know about the fiber, but Merrick's quality of their canned food has gone way way down. I bought a large can of wingaling and there were only two drummets in there. The Evangers chicken wing drummets is so full of wings you can't count them all. My girls are liking the Merrick Before Grain dry, no problems with that.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Mine eat the Grammy's Pot Pie Kibble, and several of the canned varieties on top. None of them have ever had any problems with the food, and seem to gobble it. In fact, Baxter's skin allergy cleared up when I went to this brand. I never noticed any more than 2 drummettes in the wing a ling cans at one time, there are always little chunks of meat in there too. I have been feeding this food for 2 years now. I have always wanted to try Evanger's, but it isn't for sale here. I looked at it on the web last summer, and it was only sold by the case...I would want to try at least 2 varieties before I committed to a whole case of pricey canned food! |
