| Help! Picky pooch Hi, my little yorkie has to be the pickest eater ever. I have changed her food several times....only because after eating it for a couple days she turns her nose up at it and backs away from it like it is repugnant...... I even resorted to making her some gourmet puppy chow and of course after 2 days she's already turning her nose up at that!!! She's by no means under weight...she weighs in at a steady 5 lbs... but I just don't know how to make her happy. Can someone that has a picky pooch give me some ideas on what to try next? Thanks!!!

| My mom has the pickiest poodle in the world, different breed but I thought I would offer what we did. Rue eats Eagle Pack Holistic Anchovy soft food and Taste of the Wild Bison formula kibble. Some days he eats more soft than hard, but he always eats now. Our pet store owner said his friend had great results with Fromm, I don't know the variety though. Good luck, at least the pup isn't losing weight! |

Thanks to Donna (Yorkiedaze) I am getting ready to start home cooking REAL FOOD for my guys. I call it home cooking to the extreme. I am buying some laying hens for fresh hormone free eggs and have found a neighbor/hunter who will supply me with venison. As soon as my freezer is full and I have my hens I'll be in the kitchen and will report back | |

| Max was fussy with his food until, I worked out that his cod liver oil mixed in his food upset his tummy. I used to add it once or twice a week. I've left it out of his food for 3 months and tried it again one day last week, he was sick. |

| I've Had The Same Issues I have gone thru 5-8+ types of foods for my Yorkie. This had begun since I got him at 10 weeks, until this year. I finally found a dog food that he likes and doesn't turn his nose up and walk away. Royal Cainine is what he's on now. Hang in there and keep trying different foods and eventually he/she will find a food he likes. |

| royal canine? Where do you get Royal Canine? Is it a premium food? I'm on at least my 5th try on doggie food.....getting real tired of her sticking her nose up and walking away when I know she's hungry!! She's even doing it to the puppy food that I made a couple days ago....She LOVED it for 2 days...now it's like "no thank you"....grrrrrr lol
