| Itchy because of new Canidae formula? Within the last few weeks, Britney, Brooklyn, and Coral have all began itching. They'll wake up in the middle of the night and just scratch and scratch and scratch. I feel so bad. I'm really frustrated! Has anyone had any similar situations? After doing some searching, I read of some people having similar problems. Any suggestions?? I'm thinking about changing food. Does anyone know of a good, readily available brand?

| Are they scratching anywhere in particular (ears, chin, belly, biting paws)?

| They are mostly scratching their feet and lower back.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I think it's a little odd that all three would be itchy from food. Wouldn't that mean they are all allergic to it? I guess anything is possible. I will say...chewing feet sounds more like mites. Since you asked...mine are eating taste of the wild...bison/venison formula...and love it. It's also grain free.

| Sometimes the paw chewing is related to grasses and especially if the grass is damp. If it's allergy to dog food, why not put them on real food?

| After I read that Canidae had changed their formula, I threw away the bag. I bought them Primal Chicken RAW and they love it. Also bought Chicken Soup for dog lovers adult. |

All three most likely wouldn't get itchy from food at the same time. Food allergies usually include itchy ears. Mites are active at night, so that would be my first guess.

Real food is so confusing. Do you have any recommendations for simple meals? How do you deal with something that has to be refrigerated when it comes to traveling?

| Yeah, we did. It was about a month or so ago. (I think? I don't even know the date. ) We washed them every day after the beach.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | That treatment sounds like a grass allergy...at least that's what the diagnosis was for two dogs I know...that received that same treatment
