| Finally.... Well, I think we finally found a food that Sebastian just absolutely loves!!! Sebastian belongs to a friend of mine, Nini, he is a pup from Miko and Prissie's first litter. He is the most finicky eater I have ever seen. He weighs 3 lbs., but should weigh more, the only thing he will eat is Science Diet, I know not the greatest food in the world but that is all Nini could get him to atleast nibble on here and there. When he has been at my house I tried feeding him Nature's Variety raw, he didn't want to have anything to do with it. He would eat a little of the Nature's Variety Instinct kibble but still not really what he should be eating. Now he loves treats, any kind of treats he will gobble down. I bought my babies ZiwiPeak jerky treats and Sebastian loves these also. So I bought a bag of the ZiwiPeak Venison dog food, it is a air dried jerky-style food. I took it over to Nini on Saturday, and he absolutely loves it!!! She said he just gobbles it down and wants more every time she feeds him, so she has been giving him a little more than the recommended feeding, which is fine since he is a little on the thin side. I think we finally found a good food that Sebastian will eat, and he's finally off of Science Diet. I would highly recommend this food to any finicky eaters out there, here are some facts about the food: ZiwiPeak Cuisine pet food is a complete, natural balanced real-meat diet prepared with care in New Zealand beneath the Bay of Plenty's celebrated peak, Mt. Maunganui. The peak health of dogs depends on the sustenance they get from real meat. ZiwiPeak products are formulated with the same balance of meat ingredients that dogs would find by hunting in the wild. It's the diet that nature intended. Energize your pets with the nutritional value of a raw meat diet, with the convenience of air-dried jerky style portions. ZiwiPeak Cuisine Helps to Promote: Energy and Vitality General Well-being Proper Digestion Healthy Coat and Skin Reduced Bad Breath, Flatulence and Stools Long-term Joint Health Weight Control ZiwiPeak ingredients are sourced from livestock ranch-raised (free of antibiotics and hormones) on New Zealand's green fields and fish from its clear blue waters. Only ingredients 'passed fit for human consumption' make the grade - no artificial colors, preservatives, fillers or grains. ZiwiPeak Cuisine is suitable to feed your pet at any stage of life - from puppy to mature adult. Most importantly, dogs love the taste! ZiwiPeak Cuisine is available in air-dried pouches. The gentle air-drying process delivers a high quality diet while maintaining the nutritional integrity of the natural raw materials. Air-drying is a sterile and safe food processing method, carried out under controlled conditions. ZiwiPeak Cuisine for Dogs Meat Choices: Venison (meat min. 65%, venison organs min. 19.5%): The premium quality ranch-raised venison in ZiwiPeak Cuisine has plenty of connective tissue incorporated to provide regular, digestible levels of both Chondroitin and Glucosamine that nutritionally supports long-term joint health. Venison is also a relatively new and substantially different meat source for many pets, and as such, it has wide appeal as an allergen-free product. Venison & Fish (meat min. 50%, venison organs min. 19.5%, Hoki fish min. 15%): In addition to the benefits of Venison, Hoki Fish provides Essential Fatty Acids like Omega-3 and Omega-6 which help build a healthier immune system. Dogs are unable to make these Essential Fatty Acids without a dietary source. Lamb (meat min. 65%, lamb organs min. 19.5%): The ranch-raised lamb used in ZiwiPeak Cuisine is a pure source of high quality protein and fats. Lamb provides these essential proteins and fats that dogs need in their diet for muscle and brain function. Lamb is also a relatively new and substantially different meat source, making it another fine option for an allergen-free product. ZiwiPeak Cuisine fed in conjunction with ZiwiPeak Treats may help to alleviate the build-up of allergens caused by feeding grain-based diets, or diets containing colors, preservatives or fillers. http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/produc...od/311000.aspx |
