Is royal canine a HIGH quality food such as Innova or Canidae? Does it have by products? I'm curiosu because there are a lot of you who feed it to your babies and I want to try it but I dont want to feed them anything not HIGH quality and I ve heard anything they sell at petsmart isnt HIGH quality is this true or rumor? Thank you!

Both my dogs eat Royal Canin mini bites and love it. I dont think its as high a quality as Innova and Canidae though. It does have corn in it.

We used to feed our girls Royal Canine and they did really good on it but we did notice that it tended to make them itch some...and with Magic's sensitive stomach our vet told us to use a Lamb and Rice formula!! So now we feed them Nutro Small Bites...

Default What's the List Called...someone help me here

I have both Baxter and Chloe Royal Canin (switched from Eukanuba). I was trying to choose between Innova and Royal Canin. Baxter gets the Mini Yorkshire Terrier and Chloe gets the Mini Puppy.

Royal Canin is on that list in that journal...what's it called guys? I KNOW someone can help me with this...I cannot think of the name of the journal...

Lacy and Cruz eat Royal Canin too. They like it and I've never had a problem with it either.

Yes, you are correct Royal Canine is on the Whole Journals pick for top dog food list. It is Royal Canin Natural Blend that made the list. Their Yorkshire Terrier or their Mini puppy 33 formulas did not make the list probably due to corn being in the ingredients.

Whole Dog Journal's picks.

They base their choices on quality of ingredients. All the choices are human grade except the nutro ultra, which is new in 2005.

We use RC as well but I think Canaidae and Innova are higher quality.

Coco began itching with Royal Canin so I switched to Innova. I LOVE Innova and so does Coco. No more itching.

Smile Royal Canin

Sophie came home from the Breeder not eating the food that the breeder recommended....lol She just played with her food. Wouldn't touch any kind of wet either.

I went to Pet Smart...Sophie in arms...and asked them what they thought.
The manager told me that Royal Canin had the tinest kibble in the puppy and she may eat that better...
I bought a bag..took it home. The rest is history. She loves, loves her Royal Canin food.
I'm so glad she isn't itchy with it~

I feed both of mine RC. I'm a little concerned because of the high protein content. IIRC, it's 33%? I read somewhere that 26% is optimum. Can anyone verify that?
