| Feeding help I am so confused there are so many different answers I have gotten on this. I have a 11 week old 2 pound puppy who the breeder told me to feed her Royal Canin puppy 33. On the amount they said half of my palm full. The back of the bag doesn't have the feeding regimen for her age/weight group it says to feed Royal Canin baby/minidog 30 I bought that and that says only feed this to them up to 8 weeks. What the heck am I doing?? I want an exact measurement. She has been itching a lot lately too could it be the food? I work all day and feed her in the a.m. then when I get home. If I left food out all day she will eat it all in one sitting! How many times a day do I feed her? What brand do I feed her? How much? What about wet food? I was told by the breeder not to! Should I give her nutrical? I do not want to feed her table food! Sorry so long I asked so many different people and everyone has a different answer. Her adult weight will be 4-5 pounds she is 2 pounds now. |

| I would feed what the breeder is feeding for at least a couple weeks until she adjusts to new surroundings. Then I would chenge from Royal Canin because it causes severe itchies in some Yorkies. Usually such a young dog wouldn't get food allergies but if she has been eating the food enough, it could happen I guess. Is it her paws and ears? It may not be the food doing this at all. You will need to feed at least 3-4 meals a day. The brand is one of those things where everyone has their own opinion. I don't like recommending kibble brands because I don't think any of them are great but if I had to pick one, it might be Natural Balance. Wet food is fine and would probably be good if she isn't eating enough hard food. Some people say it causes too much tartar to build up on their teeth but whatever you feed, her teeth need to be brushed anyway. I like Evangers canned.

| It's important to introduce a new food daily but mixed with the current food. Feed as you would but split the amout between the two. I started with .25:.75 then increased ever 3 days until they were on 100% Life's Abundance. They won't eat anything else!
