YorkieTalk Newbie! | Trouble with eating? My 3 lb Mika is 6 months old and has become a picky eater. We are feeding him Royal Canin but he no longer wants to eat it dry. I really would like to have him eat dry food for his teeth but he won't eat it without me putting some low salt chicken broth in it. He has lost some baby teeth; could this be why he does not want to eat the dry food? Also, at 6 months old; how often and how much should we be feeding him? Thanks |

| i know how you feel. i had a finicky eater since the day we got him. its a struggle. i tried wet, dry, all natural, and eventually it got to the point where he was losing weight so i had to start to home cook and supplement for him. try to have your pup on a feeding schedule... twice a day. its hard to not have food convenient for him, but he will realize food is far and in between if you control it. also try to slowly ween him to a different food... but please just don't switch at once... gradually add a new food in with the old. hope this helps... good luck!
