| Hi, I had my baby spayed on Thursday and the vet office told me no steps or jumping for 14 days. I can see no jumping but 14 days is a long time for steps I thought. I was wondering what anyone else has been told. Thanks! |

| Roxie was spayed 2 1/2 weeks ago and they said no jumping for 2 weeks and the first few days she was calm but after that she was playing with the others. I just tried to not let her overdue it. I only have one step to the outside and she was fine going up that. I just kept an eye on her incision.

| My vet said no jumping or running/strenuous activity for 14 days. I have 2 flights of stairs from my main level to the bedroom, and doggy steps for the sofa and bed. Both girls tolerated stairs immediately and without any problems. The vet put no limits on stairs. After 2-3 days, it was like nothing had happened as far as they were concerned.

| Same here, my vet said no strenous activity (jumping, going up/down stairs, running, etc.) for 2 weeks. The first week, I kept her on my lap most of the time and pretty much took all her toys away so that she wouldn't try to play fetch. I've also had to stop taking her for walks b/c everytime we walked past someone she started to jump around. By the 2nd week, she was allowed to run around the house, but still no jumping and stairs.
