TJ is being NEUTERED right now!! (sad momma) HI...I droped TJ off this morning for his neuter. I couldn't feed him anymore last night after 6pm. It was breaking my heart at 8pm when he was scanning the kitchen floor for food and then he would look at me with that look: Momma where my food, my tummy is hungry??? Oh how sad...I had to sneak Roxy some food and I felt like I was being a trader to TJ! This morning his rear was making those girgiling (sp) noises (he has been having that every now and then, from something he ate), so I was worried that they would not do the neuter. BUT the noises stopped before we left for the Vet. I spoke to the Vet about it (you could hear it ever so faintly). The Vet said not to worry he is ok for surgery. I (and the Vet) think that TJ is having some kind of ingestable tummy problems (eating things he should not, but he also could be allergic to something he is eating). So, before I switch to hypo-allergenic (sp) diet for 4-6 weeks (NO BEEF OR CHICKEN) I am go to be very causious with what I feed him and see if I can find out what is bothering him. BUT if this continues for the next week or two, I'll have to try this diet! It is just hard b/c I have Roxy too and that means she would also have to go that diet (just to make sure TJ doesn't eat her food). ...now his testicles are just above the place they should be, the Vet had a hard time finding them, but then he did. He said TJ will be ok and that sometimes it just happens that way! I am trying to remain calm. I hope my little guy is OK. I can call at 4 pm to check on him, but I can't pick him up until 11 am...I don't like that idea, but I know they will take care of him and this gives me a chance to bond with Roxy, we are having submissive issues with her. I have to build her confidence more and I hopefully tonight will help a lot! THANKS, I just needed to vent...

THANKS everyone! I know I will be ok and deep down inside I know TJ will be ok too. It is just.......well, you all know that feeling! I miss him and I just keep thinking about him and all the funny and cute things he does! And then I just think about later when he wake up and he doesn't know where he is...and then I feel sad! I am just going to focus on Roxy tonight and secretly wish the hours by really fast!

They said he just came out of surgery right now and everything went well and that he is still waking up and that I should call tomorrow at 10 am and then after the Dr.'s check him out again, they will let me know when I can come and get him! THANKS EVERYONE! |

Scaple method. I didn't even know about a lazer method. Roxy was spayed last month there and everything went well. Her scar is healing, but it feels a little bumpy there!

Don't worry about Roxy's scar... It will all blend in over time and you won't even be able to see the scar either... It will take many months, but it does heal very well. I felt the same way about Annie's scar after her spay but it did EVENTUALLY go away... But it did take some time.... a LONG time....
