| Nutrish dog food So Rachel Ray sells dog food! I'm wondering what your opinions are on the ingredients in this food. I don't have much knowledge on a good dog food, just that my dog is very picky and seemed to like it....at least this week anyway! I'm sure next week she won't touch the stuff and I'll be out looking for something different! The ingredients are: Chicken, Chicken Meal, Brewers Rice, Corn Meal, Soybean Meal, Animal Fat (Preserved with Mixed Tocopherols), Corn Gluten Meal, Brown Rice, Oatmeal, Dried Beet Pulp, Natural Flavor, Dicalcium Phosphate, Salt, Calcium Carbonate, Dehydrated Alfalfa, Dried Peas, Dried Tomatoes, Dried Carrots, Potassium Chloride, Choline Chloride, Olive Oil, Vitamin E Supplement, Zinc Sulfate, Ferrous Sulfate, Iron Oxide, Dried Parsley, L-Ascorbyl-2-Polyphosphate (Source of Vitamin C), Mixed Tocopherols, Niacin, Manganese Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, D-Calcium Pantothenate, Biotin, Sodium Selenite, Vitamin A Supplement, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (Source of Vitamin K activity), Vitamin B12 Supplement, Potassium Iodide, Cobalt Sulfate, Folic Acid Thoughts?? |

| I personally havent heard of her food, but I would watch out for the corn meal ingredient... Yorkies tend to not do well with it.. I feed Roxi & Rocco Merrick. I would post in the "Health & Diet" section, there is a lot of very knowledgable members in that will help and even send you samples!! You should post this over there... Good luck!! XX

| That is so random (Rachael Ray selling dog food)! I'll be interested what responses you get. It's apparently sold at Wal-mart which would lead me to believe it isn't any good but I'll be interested what responses you get.

| I read a review for this food recently. Unfortunately I can't remember where. But the opinion was that this food should be avoided. There are much better options out there for our dogs.

| We had a horrible emergency and ran out of dog food last night and we weren't able to go to the petstore. My hubby found the Rachel Ray food at Walmart and brought it home. Bless his heart - he did actually read the ingredients and found chicken to be the first ingredient and thought it would be okay. We will be getting our Wellness at the petstore tomorrow, but the dogs do seem to LOVE the taste of Nutrish. And they haven't had any digestive problems. So, while I don't think it's a great food nor do I endorse it, if you do find yourself in a pinch, I guess it's better than anything else you can get at Walmart.
