| Chicken Liver Daisy has decided that chicken liver is a good thing! I made turkey and stuffing for dinner and gave her a little bit of the cooked giblets. Good grief I thought she was starved to death. I mixed it with some boiled chicken and dog food....about time this little imp decided to eat!! Anyone else have a pup that likes chicken liver? |

| I haven't tried chicken livers but Gracie and Sampson are nuts over chicken and even moreso over turkey. The best part about turkey is that they fall asleep for a good long nap after they eat it. I like to give it to them late at night before they go to bed... hee hee

| My dogs go nuts for chicken so I am sure they would like chicken livers also. I am glad your pup is eating. I know you have been having your struggles with it.

| My grandma used to cook chicken livers and gizzards specifically for her poodle. Since they watched my poodle during the day, that meant that he got to eat them too. He was so overweight when we moved back to our hometown that the vet put him on a strict diet. They believed in the idea that table food was wonderful for their dogs! I imagine the liver and gizzards would be a nice treat for them but she went overboard!

| Long time ago we had a little chihuahua that just loved chicken livers! She lived to be 17, too.

| Chicken liver All she gets is about a thumbnail size piece crumbled up in her regular food. She thinks it is great! It's not like she is getting only the chicken liver so I don't expect any problems. |
