| Tooth/mouth problem Hello My 5mths old Yorkie is moving his mouth in a weird way. He opens his mouth, moves his tongue and then his jaw chatters....its seems like either he has a loose tooth, or a cut in his mouth or a sore gum? Has anyone heard of this. He has been doing it for 3 days. I don't see anything in his mouth. He is eating and playing so it's not like he is pain. It almost looks like he is trying to adjust his jaw or something. It could be one of these things not sure. Help? I have a vet apt on Sat. Aneta Last edited by anta76; 08-26-2008 at 10:21 AM. |

| Yes he should be teething at this time, but not sure, he won't let me look too long in his mouth. It just looks uncomfortable for him. Last week I caught him playing with a piece of glass, so maybe I cut him accidently trying to take it out of his mouth....but it almost looks like a jaw problem...not sure. |

| Cassie is 7 months old and teething. She doesn't seem to have as much trouble as Dezi, she hid under the bed and shook when teeth were loose. Dezi's is upset when anything is out of the ordinary, even if it didn't hurt. But Cassie does this thing when she tugs or plays really hard and it looks like shivering/quivering of her lower jaw. It goes away after a minute if she's not playing anymore. She always did this so I don't think it has to do with teething.
