| Second Opinions! This is a HUGE thank you to those who stressed that I get a second opinion when I found out that Jack may have had LP. I will not be going back to the vet had been going before. I went to this new place for an opinion on his coughing/sneezing and she really strongly believes he has an URI. Whereas, the previous vet had told me that it was probably my carpet causing his nose to become irritated. Stike 1. Now here comes the really aggitating part..... this new vet says she has dealt with a lot of toy breeds that have LP. She has several different breeds right now that she is monitoring to watch for advancing signs. Already I trust her judgement. But I had her take a "look" at Jack knees. She said that no doubt that his knees slide out a different way (they move to the ouside of the legs versus the inside) but she CANNOT grade him!!!! She said that she can't even get his knee cap to come completely out, therefore at this point not even a grade one. She put him on her "to watch" list. So again, thank you all for your encouragement to see someone else. I am so happy I did.

| Get this..... she graded him a 4 in his left leg and a 2 to 3 in his right! But at the same clinic a different vet told me he was perfectly healthy and that was before we saw her (his appointment for his neuter). Hey by the way.... when are you going to post another blog for Wylie and Marcel? I love the two out already and and always watching for more.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Wow - so glad you got that 2nd opninion! So funny you asked about the dog-blog bc they were *just* bugging me about it the other day. Wylie is furious that he hasn't been online lately...
