Blue Buffalo Co or Wellness?? Which food do you think is better to switch my puppy over to?? The ingredients seem quite similar from what I can tell however the size of the kibble is larger in the Blue Buff compared to the Eukanuba that I am switching her from? Any input?

Of the two, I prefer Wellness. I was not pleased with the results I got w/ Blue Buffalo. But that being said, just because I didn't think it was a good match for MY dogs, doesn't mean it won't be a good match for YOUR dogs.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | It depends on which ones, exactly, you're looking at - there is a differnce, for example, btwn Wellness Core or Wellness Super 5 - same with Blue Buffalo or Blue Buffalo Wilderness - so, which ones specifically are you lookin' at? Personally, I really like the Core and the Wilderness - but think the other choices have merit too. It depends on what you're looking for. Also, I like grain free and mid-to-higher protein, so I take those things into consideration when considering foods. So, whatcha think?

She is only 16 weeks so I was only looking at the puppy types. I noticed the Blue Wilderness said it was for active dogs so I didn't even look for a puppy wilderness. She is active, but I thought that was refering more to hunting type dogs. I have noticed the Lifesource bits are harder for her to chew. Maybe I will switch her to Wellness once i finish the eukanuba and Blue mix. Poor little thing, but she seems to like her blue otherwise and she likes the wellness puppy treats!

Yeah, the Blue Buffalo puppy has quite large pieces and was too big for Baron as a puppy. Both mine eat the Blue Buffalo for small dogs (Pink Bag) and they love it. But I haven't tried the Wellness brand.

Selah eats the small breed blue buffalo, and the pieces are just the perfect size for her. She was able to eat the bigger kibble pieces we had gotten in a free sample, but the smaller breed pink bag is what we usually feed her. If you are looking for puppy food, though, you might want to pick something else. You could always try mixing things up again when she's an adult.
